High School Contest

MNI honors the work of high school journalism students through its annual High School Communications Contest. Students enter work in categories such as editorial, feature, review, news, sports, column, feature photo, cartooning, single page layout and graphics to earn cash awards.

All first place entries go on to the National High School Communications Contest. In addition, the top senior wins the Gladys Swank Scholarship and a student membership in MNI, and the high school with the most winning entries is honored as well.

Entries should be postmarked by Friday, February 23, 2007 and mailed to:
